Workplace Services is a registered Group Training Company. We employ Apprentices and Trainees and hire them out to employers under a Host Arrangement, making you their Host Employer.
Our host arrangement minimizes the risks associated with direct employment leaving you with more resources to focus on your business goals.
As a host of Workplace services your responsibilities are to:
Provide a safe working environment for your apprentice or trainee;
Train your apprentices and trainees to your company and industry standards;
Enter into host agreement with WPS which includes the payment of weekly invoices for wages.
By becoming a Host Employer with Workplace Services you will soon be hands free to focus on your business. That is to:
Grow and promote your business;
Run a more efficient business;
Reduce employer expertise required these days to manage staff;
Focus on the products you are making and selling;
Train your staff to produce quality products.
Our role in this arrangement is to give you, the Host Employer, the benefits of employing an apprentice and trainee without the hassles that plague employers. On the Host Employers behalf we will:
Advertise, recruit and short list the most skilled applicant for your workplace incurring all associated recruitment costs;
Carry out employee inductions including baseline hearing tests, OH&S, and employee code of conduct and issue personal protective equipment incurring all associated induction costs;
Manage employee contracts and Training agreements;
Provide you with a personalized and responsive support services to managing your apprentice or trainee in the workplace. We do this through our workplace Coach/Mentor;
Pay wages and entitlements, tax, allowances, leave entitlements and Group Certificates;
Process superannuation payments;
Manage employee grievances, disputes and dismissals;
Manage workplace incidents/accidents, workers compensation claims and return to work programs;
TAFE paperwork and training schedules;
Understand and comply with over 20 state and federal government laws that relate to employing staff;
Keep you involved and provide regular updates on Industry news & trends.
